Paul Woodward writes here about Michael Oren, Israeli’s ambassador to the United States, and his utter hypocrisy on the subject of Holy Land Christians.
Woodward points out that whenever a Muslim in any way attacks Christians or their faith, Oren uses the incident to build support among right-wing evangelicals. When settlers or Orthodox Jews attack Christians (like the common practice by the ultra-Orthodox of spitting on Christian seminarians in the Old City of Jerusalem), Oren is silent.
The fact is that the ultra-religious and settler right in Israel has only contempt for all non-Jews AND non-Orthodox Jews, too. That is what CBS was reporting.
